Write 7 pages paper , analyzing the issues about cinema culture and etc. Its an argumentative paper like developing and argument and discuss it in the way these two movies are addressing the issue and pointing to you argument

• Each person will create a PowerPoint/Oral presentation.  No two persons will have exactly the same assignment.  Click here to sign up for the presentation of your choice.Presentation sign-up is due November 21st.
• If you do not own the equipment needed to produce an oral (audio) presentation, you may create a Powepoint and provide a 2 page written reflection.  Please contact me for permission first.

 

Instructions

• Make comparisons between 2 religious traditions assigned and make contrasts within each comparison.
  • For example, you may compare that Christianity and Judaism share the 10 commandments (comparison) but that the understanding of the first commandment is very different (contrast). While Christian understand the 1st commandment to be a command against other gods. Jews understand it to be a statement, “I am the Lord your God who took you out of the Land of Egypt.

• For the same set, provide implications (conclusions) related to what you have observed. Each implication must be drawn from your comparison/contrast,  should be original to your thinking and not explicitly stated in course materials
  • Related to the above example, The Ten Commandments of Christianity appear to reinforce the idea of a triune God, where three entities are seen as 1 essence, while Judaism ethically, tends to be a religion of remembering what God has done for them and pays it forward to others.

• ___5 slides, in the following order:
  • SLIDE 1: Title Slide
    • Title of Your Presentation
    • Your Name
    • Date
    • Line Spaces
    • Teacher Name
    • Course Number and Section
  • SLIDE 2:
    • your first set of comparison / contrast / implication (must be related to teachings)
    • one or more images to illustrate your findings
  • SLIDE 3:
    • your second set of comparison / contrast / implication (must be related to historical developments)
    • one or more images to illustrate your findings
  • SLIDE 4:
    • your third set of comparison / contrast / implication (must be related to way of life)
    • one or more images to illustrate your findings
  • SLIDE 5- reflection
    • reflection should be primarily oral (3- 5 minutes) with main ideas highlighted in bullet points.
    • for reflection, turn to page xvii in the preface of Introduction to World Religions.read the three sections: Teachings, Historical Development and Way of Life.  Give your response to each section, using your  research on slides 2-4 as evidence to support your argument.
