One of the core business problems that RPZ faces is not having enough trained Social Media Marketing Consultants. When the merger happened RPZ continued to gain new clients without thinking ahead as to how they would be able to help all existing and new clients with social media marketing.

Genaflek did bring their own consultants to the merger, but very few of them had knowledge in social media marketing. This made the situation difficult for this newly combined company.
When the new customers are, all asking for social media marketing, and theGenaflek consultants are unable to these new customers it is a problem.
This adds more stress and more work on the social media marketing consultants. It also puts RPZ in a position where they don’t have any available consultants to help the new customers. This problem needs to be resolved in a short amount of time because it can cause you to lose both new and old clients.
If the old clients fill that they are not receiving the services at the standard they originally signed on for they might decide to break their contract. Also, if a new client is having to wait awhile before an experienced consultant can help them then they too might take their business elsewhere.With this problem in mind I wanted to see how other companies have overcome this situation in the past.
One of the biggest successful mergers was the merger of Disney and Pixar. Pixar was its own company and was a big rival for Disney. This contract allowed Disney to release the movies to the Disney audience while having the Pixar name on the movie.
Disney had been making movies for decades, but had not advanced their animation graphics to the level of Pixar. Pixar’s contract was about to expire in 2006 when Disney decided to buy out Pixar. These combined companies were able to create some of the best animated movies.
