Using APA formatting, prepare a paper detailing a juvenile’s rights at the time of arrest. Compare and contrast at least three of the protections afforded to juveniles (as compared to adult offenders) and provide your opinion of whether or not the protections serve the purposes of criminal and social justice.

Include discussion of the following in your paper:

a. The IV Amendment Search and Seizure Clause

b. Interrogation

c. Confession

The criminal justice system is one that has been significantly impacting communities in our country and around the world for centuries; the idea of juvenile justice, corrections, and rehabilitative methods did not surface initially until 1791 when the Bill of Rights was passed by the United States Congress. methods of criminal activities; the same is true for juvenile justices and the methods in which jurisdictional powers determine if the punishment fits the crime. The issue of juveniles committing murder and other types of heinous crimes has, in recent decades, surfaced in the criminal justice professions as a problem of which needs to be solved without violating the juveniles rights in respect to due process, and appropriate sentencing; for an adult that commits murder or a series of murders, there is a good chance, depending on the state in which the crimes occurred, that there will be a push for the death penalty.
