People have vastly different opinions on the role and responsibility of schools to provide sex education. In my opinion, schools should have a significant role in teaching sex education. While parents may be the primary source of information for their children, not all parents are comfortable discussing sex or may not have accurate information to share. Furthermore, schools can provide unbiased and comprehensive information that parents may not be able to provide.
