Your paper must include the following elements that evolve from your personal theoretical orientation:

By Day 7 of Week 10
Due the Final Project. Although the Final Project is not due until Week 10, you should become familiar with the project requirements and have them in mind as you proceed through the course. Many of the Discussions and Assignments relate to and can be of use to your Final Project.
The Final Project will be evaluated according to all four indicators in the Final Project Rubric located in the Course Information area. Be sure that the Final Project is written using APA format.

After this, you should explain how intervention strategies are designed within your theoretical orientation. This will help you to describe the specific techniques and methods you use to work with couples and families.
You should also explain how your theory conceptualizes mental health. This will help you to articulate your understanding of what it means to be mentally healthy and how you work towards this goal in your therapy practice.
Next, you should describe the key factors that contribute to healthy family/couple relationships. This will help you to explain how you identify and address the issues that arise in couples and families, and how you work to support and strengthen these relationships.
You should then describe the skills necessary within your theoretical orientation to meet the agreed-upon goals and outcomes for couples and families. This will help you to explain the competencies that are required to effectively work with couples and families using your theoretical orientation.
You should also discuss the nature of the practitioner-client relationship and its relative importance. This will help you to explain how you build rapport and establish trust with your clients, and how this relationship supports the therapeutic process.
Finally, you should explain the evidence to support your theoretical orientation as an appropriate intervention for couples and families in need. This will help you to demonstrate the effectiveness of your approach and to support your theoretical orientation with empirical research.
