Morality describes a system that dictates the behavior people whenever they interact. Morality depends on situations and common law. Morality is all about acceptable response to the prevailing situation. It establishes a link between people or a group of people in which everyone must understand and adhere to their responsibility. Efforts have been made to improve on work place ethics, social justice and social change. A lot of awareness creation programs have been conducted to enlighten workers on their rights and enhancing good coexistence between employees, employers and the society at large. Due to these efforts, the number of reported cases on violation of human rights has dropped drastically over the last few years. Despite the positive progress made in regard to this practices, more needs to be done since there are remaining. Any acts that do not conform to international labor laws are considered as a violation of human rights. (Cropanzano, 2001, p. 90)

Workplace ethics are guidelines that dictate relationship between workers and their employees. It draws boundaries that define how each of them must conduct themselves to a verge conflicts and violations of either party’s rights. Social justice dictates that people must have equal rights when it comes to maters regarding opportunities, politics among others. Good salaries and better living standards are also aspects of a good and just administration. From a business perspective, social justice implies to equal treatment of workers with zero tolerance to any sort of discrimination. However social injustices are still major problems in many institutions in the word today. It is not a surprise to find an organization that has more than half of its workers being of the same tribe or family specially in the developing nations.
Gender discrimination is another social injustice that is yet to be addressed. Gender bias has been a big problem especially for women workers. Many institutions do not appreciate the fact that a woman has equal abilities and rights to those of their male counterparts. Sexual harassment is another form of workplace injustice being practiced today. Many complain have been made by people who have been sexually harassed especially by their bosses. Bullying is another unethical practice. This happens when people are abused either verbally or sabotaged by their bosses. (Ewing, 1989, p. 50) At least twenty seven percent of workers in America have been abused in one way or another. This is according to a report released recently by job site CareerBuilder’s, sadly many of these malpractices are not reported to the relevant authorities.
Workers are not supposed to be forced to work; in fact forced labor and human trafficking are examples of gloss violation of human rights. Hytex factory has been under huge criticism for forced labor and human trafficking this is according to Nike incorporated. Hannah Jones who is Nikes president, many of these workers came from Bangladesh due to poor living conditions in their country. The company is blamed for withholding workers salaries indefinitely. Hytex factory provided its workers with pathetic houses that do not meet the required housing standards. The company also withheld workers passports making it impossible for them to go back to their countries.
Meanwhile, Nike has been on the fore front in fighting workplace injustices in all its endeavors. The company observes closely the international labor laws as stipulated in the United Nations labor acts. Nike has directed Hytex factory to uphold justice to its workers and warned of breaking its business relationship with the company if this malpractices continue. The fair labor association was created by Nike in the year 1999. The organization harmonizes the relationship between the company, its employees and human rights related organizations. The association promotes good working conditions among other work place related issues.

Administrators are supposed to be on the front line in enhancing workplace justice. Any institution that maintains good justice system, rip good results like increased customer loyalty and output. It is vital for an organization to adopt current decision making systems in order to enable fairness in organizations. Some of this resent decision making models include the Cooper’s decision making model. An employee who feels respected and protected is more productive compared to one who experiences the opposite. If for instance an administrator makes a decision to avert sexual harassment in his institution, women working in the organization will feel protected and eventually get motivated.
