The paper is worth 35% of the final course grade. For this paper, I want you to explore Muhammad Yunus’s thesis in his book Creating a World Without Poverty.

I want you to examine his concept of social business, of using capitalism for good by targeting humanity’s greatest challenges, such as poverty, pollution, illiteracy, and lack of health care, by applying entrepreneurialism to social problems. Discuss what he calls “the Grameen Experiment,” for which he won the Nobel Peace Prize.

Why do you think that experiment was/is successful? What are some of the ingredients of its success? Why do you think the Nobel Committee decided that such a project contributes to peace? Second, using Yunus’s example, find and discuss one case study from anywhere in the world of how entrepreneurialism can be applied to a social problem to help solve it.
